    dropping usb flashdrive just had .29 drop or unmount the usb 2 flashdrive that is ext 3. does not happen often but it has done it before. rt-n16. on the gui it says no storage avail. and since I had to reboot it nothing in error log. only thing that it writes to is the ip and global monitors...

    well I never had any issues. I know people who can't stand and talk at the same time so there are no guarrantees. but it almost soundds like you got a bad download that is why I said to download it again. all you can do is try and if it is not for you so be it.

    download it again and flash that one. and since you have to recover again go to asus site and download the 354 and recover that then flash to merlin.

    ok newbie question......... I set up traffic monitor and it creates two zip files csstats and rstats after a day or so the contents are just nul. it is set to save hourly no ips or macs listed. so what am I missing and how to view stats? thanks

    I generated the log directory and nothing. do I have to name or create a file also? when I do a df I have /dev/sda1 mounted /dev/mnt/asuswrt so I would use /dev/mnt/asuswrt/log/ ? i tried and still no luck. thanks
