MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

I'm not sure how you would want this implemented... Do you want a separate email only for the changelogs if changelog verification is enabled? Or would you want it directly in the update notification email if changelog verification is enabled? Do you want the entire changelog or just a URL to...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Currently, if it's plain text it uses asterisk as per the link I sent. I can add a all caps but we already have a way to flag it when it's plaintext emails and not HTML.

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Can I get clarification what you mean by "risk indication" Do you mean like this? This was added in version: 1.1.4 here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/merlinau-v1-2-6-the-ultimate-firmware-auto-updater-thread-closed-due-to-age.88577/post-908786

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

It was discussed previously, and we did add the changelog via email when there is a high risk phrase blocking the update and changelog verification is enabled. In that case it's already implemented. But it won't always include it if there's nothing to flag in the changelog currently :)

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

We also need clarity around this line. Are you saying your not using one at all? Or just that your not using one for the backup? Or your using something else instead like a SSD? If your not using one at all, that's your problem. Backupmon requires a USB even if you don't backup to the USB.

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Just for reference; Last night before I issued the release v1.3.5 my test was 5 seconds to download the latest 3004 .zip file This morning it's minutes; something up with SourceForge servers to throttle the downloads. 2024-11-18 02:30:23 MerlinAU v1.3.5 2024-11-18 02:30:23 Running the update...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

That's kinda my stance now as well. . The code is extremely stable and well tested, and is also very clean and easy is follow. We aren't doing massive overhauls to stuff anymore. Mostly little tweaks based on feedback and experiences we have while testing... (Such as noticing this timeout to...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Hmmm... Makes me wonder if this is a use-case to have MerlinAU itself auto update... I know we said no in the past, but knowing users have to update a dozen routers at time is painful to hear.

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.3.6 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Your welcome, Martinski and I are happy to hear users enjoy the tool :) Yes actually I do have some suggestions; it seems to be happening to me and Martinski as well. I quickly checked into the issue, and to me it looks like SourceForge is struggling right now. The servers are much slower than...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

Do you have any AiMesh connected at the moment or no? If you don't then I don't expect you to have the issue at all. My wireless page comes back if my AiMesh nodes are offline. Not unpaired. Just offline. And when they reconnect the wireless page disappears again.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

@emwgee Error: Clarification: Seems to only happen if you have an AiMesh node connected. Maybe someone else can confirm?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

@emwgee Click on the AiMesh page and try to reload your Wireless General page. It will fail. It's not related to your browser at all. I would argue you didn't resolve anything related to the problem reported.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.2 is now available for Wifi 7 devices

All good here so far; got notified just last night of the release by MerlinAU; still have some testing to do. Flashed without waiting for the delay; and at least so far no issues and stable for me. Will keep an eye and report anything if identified.
