[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.60 Beta is now available

Using a AC56U w/beta2. I noticed this exact log error when I lost internet connectivity also. Happens randomly and but not often. A reboot fixes it. I am using Time Warner cable. My parents have the exact same set up at their house, only they use Comcast and I haven't seen that issue yet on...

Update: Beta2 has been rock solid for a few days now. Having no known issues and logs looks clean/normal I think.

I also had the "Network cable unplugged" message and required a reboot to restore. First time I never seen this. I also had the "Network cable unplugged" message and required a reboot to restore external connectivity. Running AC56U with beta 2.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.60 Beta is now available

Actually I'm using the adaptive setting and not traditional as I mispoke earlier. I manually set it to 55/6 (advertised speed 50/5 from TWC) and select the Media Streaming priority if that makes a difference.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.60 Beta is now available

AC56u and beta 2 running solid for 48 hrs now. Openvpn, ipv6 & traditional QoS running fine like before. I get F bufferbloat without QoS and A with it on. So far so good.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.60 Beta is now available

I have the same problem with my internet dropping and your solution of using Exclusive worked for now. I'm using a AC56U with PIA openvpn setup. Beta 1 was the same issue.

. 59 running solid on my AC56U. Dirty flashed each rom release (including betas) since .57 without issue. I've activated adaptive QoS, VPN, traffic monitor, IPv6 and all seem to be working fine. A+ bufferbloat with QoS active. Thanks Merlin!

[Preview] 380.57 alpha test builds for all models

380.57 alpha working perfectly stable on AC56U. Running with openvpn client (2 clients) with policy rules, adaptive QoS, ipv6, usb hdd for serving media all running good as far as I can tell. Can't wait for the final version. Thanks Merlin.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

I had slow surfing too where video streams would take forever to load yet speed tests were fine. Turned out that having IPv6 enabled was the culprit and Time Warner doesn't offer it yet. Now my Hangouts doesn't take hours to deliver my messages. 378.55 is working great on my AC56U. QoS...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.53 is now available

Using PIA VPN with AC56U just fine with "Strict" setting. Always did. I also came from Shibby 1.28.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.53 is now available

Trying out the ad blocking feature for the first time and knowing its experimental. Pop-up Ad Blocking won't load a couple sites I tested so I left that off. Streaming does seem to get rid of YouTube ads with no I'll effects yet. Pretty cool. Edit - still seeing some Ads in YouTube.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.53 is now available

Working perfect on my AC56U. Haven't used Merlin for almost a year because I couldn't figure how to set up selective routing with VPN but could get it to work with Tomato. But with 378.53 selective VPN routing works great, no issues at all. Tomato is good but I always preferred Merlin. Thanks!

RT-AC68U: How to setup SSID for VPN and SSID for Regular ISP

I would love to get this working in Merlin as it is indeed faster for me. Plus I prefer the interface but it sounds more complex. I have a 50/5 connection but am only getting around 20/5 with Tomato via PIA VPN. I was getting close to full speed 40/5 with Merlin. But at least it works stable...

RT-AC68U: How to setup SSID for VPN and SSID for Regular ISP

Thanks for the guide Saffron. I'm trying to set up regular traffic on 2.4 ghz and VPN on 5 ghz. I'm confused here on this step. Which lines exactly do I need to copy into the WAN Up tab? I'm having a hard time figuring out where the author's notes end and the scripts begin/end. Also, I'm...
