    My internet has gigabit connection (comcast). Are you saying these routers will perform differently? Given the specs, I would assume both would be able to get close to advertised gigabyte speeds.

    That links says to IPv6: Disabled. My question is why, since IPv6 is the direction things are going. I thought users are encouraged to use this protocol.

    Problems with these Mesh system, there are no ethernet ports to use (some of us would like to run ethernet to devices). I have a Synology NAS plugged into a router. These mesh systems, I would be forced to by a wifi doogle.

    Old topic but just want to input my stuff. If I set my Airport Extreme to Auto for 2.4/5.0, and use 1 SSID, then my 5.0 goes to 136 channel (DFS). My iMac connects to the 2.4GHZ band, not the 5.0 band. However if I change to channel 48, or 149, or any other NON DFS channel, the mac will connect...

    Im pretty much using the default settings in the latest netgear fw. So not sure if things disable it or not. As for Tomato, is that a selling point to using it, that it supports HW accel (CTF) where other open source do not?
