    Try this. Use the suggested solution from sfx2000, & a Guest network (2), 2,4 GHz for the other clients, like a printer etc,

    Did a power cycle & dirty flash from 3004.388.5 to 3004.388.6. Also checked the downloaded file on MD5 & SHA256. All runs good. Thank you Eric.

    RT-AX88U (PERHAPS ANY ASUS ROUTER) - 2.4GHZ SMART DEVICES DROPPING ON AND OFF

    I got a RT-AX86U with latest Merlin fw. How to add iot devices to 2.4 ghz instead of 5.0 ghz? It's a Sony Bravia Google TV with Chrome cast inside it. A should I use a Guest network for this? Or else?

    I live in crowdy neighborhood in a City in the EU, Airport is out of range. Military is also out of range, Weather radar is there not in this area. I don't have 160 MHz devices.

    After a clean install I see that on 5Ghz by 20/40/80 mhz auto DFS channel selection is enabled. Is this necessary? Should I use 160 mhz also?

    Did a fresh and clean install (Hard & Factory reset) on my RT-AX86U. All my devices and even the printer works again good. I use SC.
