    No idea where this keeps coming from but it isn't exactly true. The reason they have the same FCC ID is because they were listed under the same FCC application and were bundled when testing, but the AX82 and AX58 specifically were each individually evaluated, and they have independent FCC...

    So I disabled Roaming Assistant and now all my devices aren't migrating to the AC86U mesh node and staying there... I think something may be broken in the latest firmware and Roaming Assistant.

    AX56U - as a mesh node

    You can get pcie wifi cards for fairly cheap that work really well. I never liked USB wifi dongles because the bandwidth available is usually shared among most of the USB ports .

I have gigabit fiber and everything has been more stable since switching the primary router from the ac86 to the ax58. Same 5ghz...
