Here are network adapters. When i connect modem to my physical nic on desktop that hosts vmware and vmware hosting pfsense wan comcast ip gets assigned to Realtek Pcie GBE card. I have no idea how to do that. I enabled dhcp on lan when i was nating but wan was always 192 ip not comcast isp assigned dhcp in pfsense. On physical nic i had isp ip tho. -

Blad i have reset (unplugged for 30 min) modem about 20 times by now. That will not yield in me getting comcast isp ip in pfsense. On desktop physical nic it will but not in pfsense. I'm not sure what the issue is. It seem like nic is not bridging between physical nic and virtual nic in vmware... -

This no longer occurs for me but i forgot how this was resolved. I think this occurs when there is two different vpn providers in client information and you disable and enable between them. Reboot after doing that should clear this but this is just a speculation. You may also want to check if... -

Yeah the clkfreq will show you false reading even when your Mibs the true speed is showing you 2398.61. If you dropped to 1599.07 you're at default 68u cpu speed. Without the script which was posted ealier in this thread after reboot you will get back to default Mibs. Script will get you...- Rango

Thanks guys for help. I think i found THE issue of my problem which is my NICs are really not working with pfsense. I found that out threw ESX which tole me no network adapters detected, but pfsense would not tell me that. 6 days of troubleshooting down the drain. I have realtek adapters which... -

For everyday wifi use and streaming CPU doesn't matter, 400Mhz router will due just fine. For IPTV and anything internet related with exception of vpn Mbps is what matters not Mhz so you won't get higher. You would look at Mbps speed of what your ISP is providing but anything north of 20Mbps is...- Rango

I'm running 1400Mhz on 87u and if could have 2400Mhz or 4100Mhz i would be very happy. For me the point was to get as close to 5-10% my ISP speed while on VPN. VPN due to encryption requires heavy CPU encryption and decryption on the fly and for that you need CPU Mhz clock speed. 87u which is...- Rango

Ok so looks like pfsense has no internet connectivity yet pia is up? whaattttttttttttttttttttt This pfsense is giving me a headache. Why is this so complicated. It looks like i need to define a route to my 87u or maybe gateway needs to come up in pfsense. -
