I just reinstalled everything including vm while my modem was unplugged for 30 min. Got into pfsense web interface. Cant get ip unless i spoof mac. I did find out what the issue is. I cant ping any internet address from pfsense box which is why i cant get onto vpn. So maybe i need to create or... -

Honestly guys i love what pfsense can do but for few days now i can't get it to work anymore even on wan and lan. I did reinstall from scratch, no luck. For wan i couldn't get isp wan ip address, so then i spoofed my physical nic in wan portion of pfsense where mac is. That worked and got wan... -

Guys so perhaps it's only about cpu power. I just tried on my laptop which is running of off 5ghz cpu only but two other cores in 87u are freed up from this connection as another cpu in 87 handles 5ghz. I just got 68up 11 down on pia so if i can get my pfsense up i should be able to hit 80... -

On 87 router overclocked to 1400mhz, 2.4ghz band disabled, 5ghz band on dedicated cpu outsite those dual core once, 3rd cpu. comcast 90/12 mbps Pia aes128 54mbps pia aes256 35mbps vpnac aes128 45mbps On Pfsense 4.1Ghz quad core, 2Gb ram Pia aes128 initially got 80mbps then i think i got... -

I would think it's PIA. I can get 91Mbps on comcast. I tried setting up pia with no encryption on 1195 but that didnt work for me. It would be interesting. When you connect to vpn you essentially are changing your isp, so your isp on pia could be choopa so they are providing you vpn bandwith... -

yorgi sounds to me something is not correctly setup in your client. Btw i'm starting to think that PIA throttles down all vpn connections. My 80mpbs i can no longer touch that anymore. I'm getting now max 50mbps-33, 40mpbs usually on aes128 on pfsense. Throttling would make sense with what you... -

On Lan 100Mbps would be but my ISP speed is 90/12 so limitation here is ISP speed. 91Mbps was my peak. During heavy usage hours i get 85-75Mbps so getting similar speeds on vpn is just 5-10% less due to encrypting and when congested then less then that. I will eventually change it to 1gb but my... -
