Cox also blocks the feedback function. They should do a rethink of how this is sent since all the major US ISPs block such action.

Agree with SyntaxInvalid, Latest firmware out on August 25th, version 3.0.0.4.382.15984 appears to fix many of the issues which basically disabled the router from it's boasted features. Most of these appear to now be working, although there are still many bugs that should be worked out in...

Port 3436 is normally Exchange protocol. My wife had something like that on her laptop in the router log. I had her close out of Outlook and reopen and the error went away. Guessing it is still a bug but one that appears only after Outlook has been open for sometime.

It is best to use the feedback option in the router. This goes directly to Asus developers.

24 hr burn in report. Still seeing strange errors in log on router. Almost the same as found in beta's leading up to this release. The good news is, it is a major improvement from the June 2017 production OS load. Hopefully we will get a few more fixes come September. example... Aug...

Thanks MarkSW, I loaded it up tonight. So far, I see no fix for the network map being only able to change about 10 devices only. Hopefully something later. Most likely see something after a 24 hour burn in period in the logs.

Currently wsarahan. If you own a RT-AC5300, stay with it for now. The code, even production is loaded with issues yet. Give it a year to work out. Also please note that MerlinWRT is not currently supported on on the GT.

Starting today, see the following in the log on the production code 3.0.0.382_15564. When I went to send via the feedback if failed.. Had to manually send in. (FYI- goes to router_feedback@asus.com) I only have one port on the switch of the router used which is port 7 going to a 16 port...

I was able to save my settings and do a reset to factory, then reloaded my configuration. Pretty painless. The only problem I have found so far is one that has been there since day one. On the network map screen, I prefer to go through the various devices defined by MAC address only and...

DarkSorrow, The file MarkSW is production code software. Just not up on the website yet. You can tell with ASUS via the first number in the code. If it is a 9, it is beta. If it is a 3, it is production release. Report any issues with this or any future code releases via the...

Hello danoz0r No one in the forum here is directly linked with ASUS so there is no definite dates on release. Only what a few of the members are getting from their contacts via open tickets and friends. The beta linked to in page 26 of the forum is the stable code so far compared against...

First. The Asus Firmware page is backup and now appears with larger text and a little web page refresh in design. No new code though. I am pushing a little over 12 days now on 15475 beta code. I see a continuing error in the log about seeing it's own MAC address down various ports off the...

Hello SyntaxInvalid, welcome to SNB forums. If you have any of the features turned on such as QOS, it could be causing issues. The June 2017 Firmware is buggy beyond what should have been released. There is a beta link on the 26th page in this thread that many of us are currently running...

I agree RMerlin, Synology makes a very nice NAS product, however they like to over burden the CPU with their sidebar apps. You cannot do that with a router. I would guess they either majorly develop their product line or become like Vizio. A one hit wonder.
