    According to this blog: https://www.cnx-software.com/2022/02/20/fixing-performance-issues-with-realtek-rtl8156b-2-5gbe-usb-dongle-in-ubuntu/ The performance issue is solved with the newer RTL8156BG chip. So there is nearly no hope that it will be solved in the driver.
