    Something after the most recent "no going back firmware" has messed with something here again. I kept getting a fragmentation error in the PS4 connection test and am seeing rubberbanding in game. This didn't start until Asus released that no going back firmware. I've tried everything listed...

    Didn't try that, simply tried the button hold thing (power off and hold reset during power on) which did absolutely zilch.

    Firmware update unsuccessful. What a bummer that I had to be the guinea pig. How do I go back? Won't even let me enable recovery mode. What in the name are they thinking? Why would they cut off Merlin?

    ASUS RT-AC5300

    Had nothing but a wonderful, stable experience with the latest MU-MIMO Alpha firmware. This router is far and away the best out of box experience I've ever had and for the first time in forever I probably won't upgrade for sometime.

    Sounds like it's a recent happening either on the ISP side or Sony's I suppose.

    In games on PS4 I do. Aside from my PS4 no. I never had this issue with the 68R, 87U, 3200... Only the 66U (aside from the 5300). What similarities are there hardware wise from the 66U/R and the 5300?
