    Will the ASUS RT-N66U fill my needs?

    I am surprised you did not go rt68u, as the price difference is not much. Use merlin or ddwrt if you need mroe range, get some 9db dual band wifi antennas from wifiexpert52 on ebay, using them and loving them.

    how-to disassemble a Buffalo Wzr-1750?

    Hi, I cannot figure out how to open my Buffalo WZR-1750. I need to dump the CFE image,etc via serial for the admins at DDWRT for them to finish the flash for it. I do not see any screws or places to pry clips. Can someone advise please?

    How are you cooling your Asus router?

    Using a generic laptop cooler below it, running it off the usb2 port. Asus Merlin says my rt-68u via the merlin firmware is telling me: Legend: 2.4 GHz - 5 GHz - CPU Current Temperatures: 52 °C - 53 °C - 78 °C CPU seems a bit hot, even with cooling..hmmm

    R7000 crashing from USB storage streaming

    the r7000 is a great piece of hardware with horrible software. look up ddwrt for it. Kong has a stable version for it.

    try the merlin firmware http://www.lostrealm.ca/tower/node/79 should help set 5ghz to 80mhz and 2.4ghz to 40mhz, allowing it to switch seems to cause issues.
