    He is probably talking about the cable matters dongle that works on "Some" LG and Sony tvs. Although a word of warning. I have one of these dongles and it doesn't work with my LG tv.

    Weird thing. I decided to buy these again after returning mine for issues with 160mhz and weather radar ch 124. (Amazon had a great offer) Plugged these in last night. Not updated the firmware (25790) and after 10 mins 160mhz automatically enabled and has worked fine all throughout the night...

    Sorry autocorrect got me. Wlan is wireless lan Eth is ethernet I forget what Wan is called, and with Linux there are other names too like phy0 enp1s0 etc

    Your router says it has 9 ethernet ports. 0-8 including your USB adaptor. Wan will probably be called Wan0 or similar.

    Picture missing? Or you mean router part isn't blue? It detects the 2.5gb link. Just doesn't go out to Internet.

    It will stay as eth8 as it is the 8th eth port available. Someone mentioned before about rebooting with it plugged in and it detects it different?

    I had similar about a year ago. I plugged wan to wan on XT8 which gave me a 2.5gb backhaul. But even with usb adaptor I could not get an Internet connection. I was going to try CLI but the 160mhz radar issue meant I had to get rid so no point pursuing..

    Oh that's interesting. Does it work in AI mesh? One thing that annoys me about the XT8 is you cant use the 2.5gb wan port on the main router as a lan port. I only have 80mb d/l so would rather use a gigabit port for WAN.

    I haven't tried it so can't say. If you want a guarantee buy a toaster :p Just mentioned it incase you had one lying around.

    Try a usb to ethernet cable to get WAN working again. Realtek if you can get it.

    Annoyingly the bar isn't physically in the way, when I click post reply I goes to search. When I click edit then save it takes me to whats new.

    I will try other browsers. Just annoying when you have to try another browser for only one issue.

    Been like this since the app went away. On Android Firefox. I go to click reply and the search icon gets in the way and navigates me away from the page.

    XT8 using 2.4ghz as backhaul even though worse than 5ghz

    160mhz can be a nightmare on these units. I returned mind because weather radar was pinging channel 124. The radar ping didn't always appear in both logs do you have to check both.
