    I am not sure as I am not in Canada right now, but my wife told me she can't find where to change UI language to chinese for first time setup. I know it can change to other langauge after go though the setup wizard.

    I second add the language options, my wife got a 86U in bestbuy canada but she prefer the menu in chinese, I use 15mins just to explain how to setup and go back to the chinese menu

    I don't know it is a bug or anything else, at least Aimesh still work for me when wps disable on all node, I am using ethernet as backhaul so I don't care will that affect wifi backhaul or not. I guess wps is used for node setup

    most router will protect by brute force attactk but not the newest method, don't want to discus the details here, I had test that new method on some other router, but no time to test on my ac68u and I prefer just disable it, even I will lost the aimesh function.

    WPS is not as secure as you think, and rule of thumb, disable/block all the stuff not need for better security/control

    for firmware 10007 at least it better then multi AP, base on my test I found it switch to different node before the rssi too low, usually it will do the switch about -50dbm for 2.4 in my case, RA had set to -70dbm, and enable/disable RA don't make a different.     Because RA will not work welll in some case, for my setup enable RA will just disconnect the device without roaming, and I am talking about at least 3sec disconnected from wifi Sure I had try lower the RA to -70dbm but it just won't do the switch anymore

    I hope asus's firmware will support DNSSEC/DNSCRYPT, without them ISP can still hijack the dns resolution easily

    Speak about OpenDNS, I had some problem with it mainly for CDN, it is not a fault of OpenDNS just most of web are not well config for OpenDNS, Taobao is one of it.

    May be it will be the opposite, right now AImesh copy the setting to the node even they are not the same model, so end up some setting may omit due to availability of function may be different

    I don't know if my problem is the same as yours, right now I am helping asus to debug it and what we know is disable flow control will help in my case, but I won't suggest disable flow control for the NAS in long run unless you are sure no packet lost.

    I got 1 House, 1 town house, 1 apartment, 1 router for the house, 2.4G full cover with some dead spot for 5G 2 for town house, 2.4G full cover and also dead spot for 5G 3 for apartement, all the wall are thick concrete, even 2,4G cannot play well with the wall, basically I need one AP for each room.
