    Diversion Client exclusion setup

Did you enable it in diversion through amtm? It would reserve the .3 as the ip to exclude devices

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

If you see type=65 in the logs then you should enable it. I haven’t see any issues from doing so

Unbound Unbound makes diversion not work?

I haven’t noticed any issues and my wife would have told me if she had. i think the way it works is it will try to send dns over type=65 and if it can’t then it will just work over normal dns… i think you can? But no clue how and don’t want to break anything.

Unbound Unbound makes diversion not work?

Yes you need to reject type =65. just log into the router with ssh and copy/paste these commands. You will stop see type=65 no longer showing in the diversion logs. When you reboot the rules will go away. So you will just have to put them back Copy/Paste: iptables -I INPUT -p udp --dport 53...

    Diversion not filtering Wifi

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

This is how I just set it up, it seems like dns is little faster using unbound then it was with AdGuard home. May just me my imagination though.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

I uninstalled AdGuard home, installed diversion, restarted unbound. All of that works great! However I ameeing this: did I set up something wrong? It looks like the domain is being blocked that uses HTTP but then it being allowed as HTTPS or am I reading It wrong? This is my MacBook and DNS is...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

Sorry for the confusion I meant using unbound in a lookup state but not using it as a blocker. So diversion as the blocker and unbound to just look up DNS

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)
