    Strange in all the years of having it, today was the first time...... I guess i dont putz with it much, its rock solid, just firmware updates every so often.

    384. 15 here too, first time i have ever ran into this after having this router for what feels like years. Did a modem swap, hit the gui reboot, lights out, power cycle and back up. Might be time to do a clean and instal. All my flashes have been dirty, first issue i think is this.

    Strange, tried searching but blanked, sorry if covered, couldnt find it. I went to reboot my router from the gui, web page, the results was no lights, like the router shut down. I pulled the power cord for a bit, then plugged back in, and all came back as it should. Super basic user, no extras...

    Thanks so far all, glad to hear about flashing. Didn't intend to imply I would flop back and forth often, or ever, but good to know I can and not be locked to stock if I update the stock firmware. Seems the new mesh is only on stock, sofar, so that's good to know. Very appreciative to merlin...

    hello, replacing my n66 fork firmware router today with a new ac86u. thoughts on the merlin firmware vs the stock firmware ?? am i able to flash back and forth somehow, meaning asus doesn't lock firmware or anything. any thoughts or feedback would be great. thank you.

    n66u, (fork firmware) not sure what happened here. i enabled jss something, but didn't save setting (figure thats not it), then i added an ip, under admin/system possibly for a samsung tv for a fixed ip. hit apply, the page didn't refresh, and i have been locked out since. problem loading page...

    We'll shoot, now I'm locked out of the GUI, telling me it's not responding, internet and wifi still works, pulled power, didn't help. Multiple devices and browsers all fail to get to the log in page. Sigh ok, back in, all good. just the log local host thing left to correct.
