    Yeah it gets a bit frustrating. If you haven't already i would update to the latest and then do a factory reset. Then manually re-configure it from scratch, this shouldn't take too long. You could take a config backup too but i wouldn't recommend this.

    Hi i Would recommend starting from scratch. Do a factory reset first and manually build from there. It might take longer but will be more stable.

    Hi, in my experience it doesn't need to be turned off. I am currently running an AX88U + Lyra Mini (mesh node) and i have 160Ghz turned on and all is working. I also have Smart Connect on with no issues. AC speeds don't get downgraded from what i can see.

    Hi, Not the exact answer you're probably looking for but i didn't see high latency but dropped packets and a few WAN disconnects. Also had weird Wi-Fi issues with clients disconnecting particularly on the 2.4Ghz band. Didn't seem very stable to me.

    Not to ask a stupid question but have you set up bandwidth limiter for all of his devices, especially the ones that are used for streaming? Can you check when he is streaming, what devices are doing so? Also is he on the Wi-Fi or does he have any devices wired in? The reason i ask is that I have...

    Not entirely convinced i need QoS as it is very limited with internet circuits and especially broadband anyway. Bandwidth Limiter is probably more effective in protecting bandwidth but obviously limits it all the time which isn't necessary.

    Right. Weirdly if I disable QoS completely it makes no difference however if I change it to Bandwidth limiter instead, everything works. I did use to have it set to BL a couple of weeks ago but changed to Adaptive QoS prior to the firmware upgrade.

    Yeah, that’s all I use it for. Not interested in using it over the WAN or DDNS.

    AX88U and yes it’s always worked with previous firmwares. Connection speed is a lowly 50/10 Mbps.

    Unless I’m mistaken you can lock it to LAN only and HTTPS. That’s how I have it. Remote access via the WAN is disabled.

    Yeah really odd. Do you use the ASUS app as mine works fine? Also the Internet traffic usage gauges on the Status page seem to work too.
