    What's the best way to update two XT8's? Do I have to update them one for one or does Asus has a smart method that updates both nodes without any issues?

    Well the 5GHz-2 band is the fastest and has the most bandwith. Do you need more than that?

    I turned the radio's off like you said: and it did not work! Reason why I want to turn it off: I don't use those bands and why keep it on if you can turn it off. I fixed it already. Go to AiMesh --> node --> management --> radio's --> turn off the radio's.

    Have you tried this yourself? If you disable it, you get a warning "this can affect Aimesh performance".

    No problems at all with the latest firmware. I did a factory reset after update. Does anyone know if I can shutdown the 2,4GHz and 5GHz-1 band? I only need the 5GHz-2 band. I use two nodes..

    I’ll stick with the old firmware. Everything works perfect! I use wireless backhaul for the mesh setting and this band is also available for devices. Super fast. Is the XT8 still tri-band? Or did they combine the two 5GHz bands?

    - System Ethernet backhaul mode, all nodes will only connect by ethernet, and all bands can release for wireless clients. Does this mean that the wireless backhaul does not work anymore??
