    AdGuardHome [RELEASE] Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI)

This actually could be the drive starting to fail. I mentioned this elsewhere, but I have always had good luck with the Samsung brand USB flash drives. Other than that I would only trust one of the high endurance microsdhc cards inside of a good reader or a usb connected external SSD.

    AdGuardHome [RELEASE] Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI)

I will do a write up sometime this week on a the 48-hr test. The summary is that AdGuardHome mem usage goes up after a few filter list updates, but doesn't continue to grow. the --no-mem-optimization only seems to change the timing of the increases, not the total usage. You definitely do want...

FlexQoS Does FlexQoS work with Full-Fibre Internet?

FWIW I have gigabit connection fiber to the home and use FlexQoS. I forget exactly which combinations of things did it, but I was able to cause huge lag spikes during speed tests. Adaptive QoS helped and FlexQoS is just an extension of that. I actually use the ASUS QoS mode (specifically not...

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

Yep, I agree. Setting that up now. Might have some unhappy folks around if the internet goes out.

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

This is with --no-mem-optimization and hourly filter updates The big jumps in memory usage match up with the timing of SOME filter updates in the log, but not all filter updates logged have a jump associated with it. Oddly enough, the log (talking about messages.log here) doesn't show...

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

I have some logs to analyze for the 1hr filter refresh with non mem optimization. Just havn't gotten to it yet. After that I will extend my logging and restart period to 2 days and see what happens.

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

Yeah I mean I didnt think 45 vs. 60 was terribly low. I guess I can change back to 60. Probably won't hurt anything.

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

When I checked the swappiness it was defaulted to zero which I believe means use swap as an absolute last resort when we're about to completely run out of memory. Maybe this makes sense with swap on something like a usb stick or flash memory where in theory there are limited writes. for what...

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

@SomeWhereOverTheRainBow See above. Not sure --no-mem-optimization is helping (at least on a 24hr view)

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

Here is a similar graph using --no-mem-optimization Some notes: "Opened web interface" I think corresponds to the really small bump inside the red oval, not the larger jump that comes later "checkpoints" where the mem usage plateaus are about the same, but come at different times

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

I had a similar thought. After getting data for --no-mem-optimization I will start trying to get data for filter list reloads by tweaking the reload interval.

Next up: using "--no-mem-optimization" as recommended by @SomeWhereOverTheRainBow

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome Memory Usage Analysis

Analyzing memory usage of AGH to determine if there is a memory leak. AGH parameters: using oisd dbl blocklist mmotti filters imported into custom filters area (I see no need to have these pulled in regularly from github) a few extra filter entries to allow a few apps to work Upstream DoT and...

AdGuardHome AdGuardHome vs Diversion - some basics

Where do I plug in this argument? In the service file somewhere or in the yaml? or the addon script? Edit: Nevermind, I found it from your other post. For anyone else wondering, it goes in the /opt/etc/init.d/S99AdGuardHome

I saw similar hatred of pixelserv-tls in the Peacock streaming app.

Oh cool. Any idea when it will hit the stable releases?

AdGuardHome AdGuardHome vs Diversion - some basics

I won't know for a few days. The way I figure I would test is grab the memory logs once per 24hrs just before service restart.

AdGuardHome AdGuardHome vs Diversion - some basics

@SomeWhereOverTheRainBow I will start a new thread here when I have a full day worth of AGH mem usage logs. Once I do that you can tell me what I can contribute that might help on github issue tracker. I don't recall my github login.

    AdGuardHome [RELEASE] Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI)

I will get there. This is getting off topic and I might start a separate thread here, but I now have AGH set to restart every morning. I also have a simple logging task set to record RSS and VSZ usage by AGH every 10 minutes. I've got this logging now with mostly out of the box settings (in...
