    What setting for channel bandwidth do you use: 20,40,80,160 or 80? Is it best to auto select channel or manually select to say 153 or 161? I am in a single family home with little interference in the area.

    Actually I think the GT-AX600 ROG looks better but the 88u Pro does look more like a "regular" router.

    Amazon is $260 for the GT-AX6000 v $220 for the RT-AX88u Pro. I got the GT-AX6000 for $236 w/coupon on Amazon ~6 mos ago and it works great. Christmas time and they are trying to move product for sales numbers when earnings announced next month.

    Network Map not refreshing

    I have been running 3004.388.4_0_rog on GT-AX6000 main with RT-AC68U node for quite a while and the network map has been refreshing as expected (knock on wood!). I just reboot everything once a week, but I probably don't have to do that anymore. I can provide other settings if you want.

    Ok thanks, that's what I thought. I think I'll disable reboot schedule and just do once in a while as needed.

    I figured this out for anybody that has the same issue and configured it like I did. Because all of my devices can run 5GHz I set router and node to 5GHz and turned off 2.4GHz on both router (Wireless settings) and node (AiMesh: Management). Turns out the node needs 2.4GHz to "communicate"...

    I have the router on a nightly scheduled reboot just because network map freezes. Is it bad (hard on router) to reboot the router that frequent?

    I will try when it freezes next. What folder did you add? "the samba smb.conf located for my router in /etc/smb.conf I edited this to add a folder that wasnt showing"

    Speed is around 1000Mbps (connection to main router), -59 dBm, no major interference in the area (3500 sq ft single family home). I've tried 160 wide with dfs but I find 80 is better as most of my devices are AC not AX. Yes backhaul is on the same link as traffic but I'm getting 3-4 bars on...

    Actually have good connection. RT-AC68W is a 1300Mbps (5 GHz band 802.11ac) router and the connection between the main router and node is usually around the 1000Mbps range.

    no. From everything I've read you never want that enabled (security risk).
