    Thank you for the reply - really appreciated. I will try that as soon as I can but strangely it runs fine until I try to flash 388 causing the crash - it is not crashing otherwise and any earlier firmware from you or ASUS flashes fine. HB

    I had 2.4 WiFi issues with the first alpha GT-AXE16000. I couldn’t get anything other than my iPhone to connect on 2.4 so rolled back. Everything is fine but I’ve not since been able to flash any 388.1 versions - it fails constantly. HB

    The latest two 388 alphas fail. I tried the first 388 alpha a few weeks ago but WiFi 2.4 was not working correctly (I’ve not tried this one again). Looks like the betas are only a few days away so I’ll try one of these once available. HB

    Yes. There’s no pro version of the GT-AXE16000 that I’m aware of. Per the screenshot a few posts ago there’s two firmware types available in these alpha releases (rog and non-rog) and neither will flash unfortunately. HB

    Same outcome I'm afraid. I can flash the ASUS firmware with the recovery tool. It then fails to flash 388.1. However, I can still flash 386.8 just as before so I'm hoping that there's just a problem with the alphas. HB

    Gave this a go on GT AXE16000 but major issues with nearly all 2.4 clients not connecting. My Squeeboxes, Harmony Hub and Yamaha MusicCast devices etc. all refused to connect. The only client I could get to connect on 2.4 was my iPhone. Tried the usual reboots, WiFi survey and switching off WiFi...
