    I had a chat with Amazon UK on their app earlier and asked when they expect stock. They confirmed that they expect to receive these 2nd August with delivery to customers a few days later. Looks like a bit more of a wait for those of us in the UK :( HB

    Same here. Beta 2 running for 5-6 hours and it still reports inactive. Switching off ipv6 it instantly works. AX88U. HB

    This is using the ASUS DDNS - there is no username and password. You register a name (name.ASUScomm.com) on the router DDNS settings and it is then locked to your router. HB

    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

    386.2_6 on the AX86U nodes is fine and 5G backhaul is solid. Any version of 386.3 (ASUS or Merlin) results in back haul dropping to 2.4G. I will try L&LD’s suggestion tomorrow. HB

    Looks like ASUS have changed some other bits of code as their AiMesh is partly broken for me with this release. I have AX88U with two AX86U nodes - one wired one 5G backhaul. With 386.3 the 5G node falls back to 2.4G backhaul after 12-24 hours (same with official ASUS 386.3). A reboot fires up...

    No, 1.0. My AX88U router does not have a 2.5 port. I am on B5 for the AX88 and AX86 nodes now and touch wood, I've not experienced the 5G WiFi network collapse again. HB

    Just ordered AX86U, couple quick set up questions/refresher.

    I can comment as follows: 1. I have set WPA2/WPA3-Personal for both bands. My legacy 2.4 devices (mainly Squeezeboxes) need WPA2 and even some of my 5G devices will not connect if set to WPA3-P only. I have also had to turn off AX mode on 2.4G as my Squeezeboxes will not stay connected with it...
