Wifi Schedule doesn't work on Merlin 380.64

Same here with my AC68U. WiFi scheduler no longer works since flashing with 380.64. It doesn't work with 380.65 alpha either. Before I reset does anyone have it working with an AC68U? HB

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.58 is now available

You need to disconnect the USBs. Failing that reboot (still with USBs disconnected) and try again. HB

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.57 is now available

Many thanks as always Merlin! All working fine so far on my 68U. No reset required for me either (but I had come from Alpha version). HB

[Preview] 380.57 alpha test builds for all models

Latest Alpha4 (13th Dec) works fine for me so far on AC68U. 5GHz WiFi working fine (I am UK based) although I had to reboot my iPhone to connect. It reported 'unable to connect to WiFi' before the reboot. HB edit. Setting 5GHz bandwidth to anything but 20 does seem to break it. 5GHz WiFi only...

    Overclocking on Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 (RT-AC68U and RT-N66U)

Thanks kvic, Martineau and hervon. I'll give it all another go tomorrow. I don't fancy the wrath of my family if I break something and there's no wifi tonight!! And Martineau, you did help. I was just making comment on the way you deliver your help. Try to be a little nicer and not ridicule...

    Overclocking on Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 (RT-AC68U and RT-N66U)

And this is EXACTLY why people ask for help is it not? Everyone has to learn at the beginning at some stage. Seriously dude, I appreciate the help but try to be a little less patronising and a little more constructive. I hope that you are not a teacher of any sort. Good forums are for sharing...

    Overclocking on Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 (RT-AC68U and RT-N66U)

Sorry but how do you write the script to JFFS? I'm trying to use this: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/JFFS And by using telnet I've only got as far as creating the directory mkdir /jffs/script Thanks again. HB

    Overclocking on Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 (RT-AC68U and RT-N66U)

I have RTFM again but I still see no guide or example script on how to do this to specific task (and include init-start and service-stop). If it is in the wiki then I'm sorry but I can't find it. Feel free to ridicule me and point me to it if it is indeed there. I (and likely many others here)...

    Overclocking on Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 (RT-AC68U and RT-N66U)

Like FlyByWire I'd be very grateful is someone can provide beginner's guide on how to create a startup script to re-apply the overclocking. My AC68U had been happily running at 1200,666 until the latest firmware. Yes, I have read this thread from the beginning but it does not give detail on how...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56 is available

Apologies if this is slightly off topic but there have been a few people asking about the overclocking throughout the beta and release threads. I fully appreciate that ASUS are locking things down and one side affect on this release is that any overclocking is reset upon a reboot and...

How long will my RT-AC68U continue to work...

I think you've answered your own question;). Merlin fixes a lot of the bad code that ASUS roll out and I have been using his firmware versions for a few years now. My RT-AC68U with Merlin's firmware is by far the best and most stable router I've ever owned and I won't be replacing it until I...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

Hi Merlin. Is this release the same as beta 2 or have there been some other changes? I've been running beta 2 without issue and the WiFi and parental scheduling are working fine. Thanks as always, HB

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 Beta is now available

OK no worries I'll revert back to 54 and wait for Asus to fix. Incidentally I think that the parental time control (by Mac ID) may be broken too. HB

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 Beta is now available

OK thanks for the confirmation. Is the old working time scheduler completely gone or just hidden? Is there a way to get to it if so?

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 Beta is now available

Merlin you clearly don't use it as it is completely different for this release!!

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 Beta is now available

The new wireless time scheduler does not work for me. If I select enable and then select the allowed times the WiFi just switches off regardless after a minute or so. The system time is correct and I have tried applying disable in the scheduler too (in case they had been inadvertantly swapped in...
