So let me ask this, Swistheater, when you use regular extender mode, do you name the SSID's all the same? I don't have as easy of use when I try extender mode. Just curious what the best way to have two routers working together for a large area to cover. I currently use an AC86U as the main...

    It would be nice.

    RT-AC86U - 3.0.0.4.382.16466 - CTF and FA missing?

When you enable time scheduling on the AC86U, it tells you to disable NAT acceleration for better control and when you click the link it takes you to where you used to be able to do so but it's not there anymore.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Ok. Well It doesn't seem to load the script using 384.5 alpha_2 on AC86U It installed fine but doesn't run.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

So my new AC86U defaults to IP address 192.168.50.1 and the DHCP server uses 192.168.50.* Your script won't work unless I use the old standard of 192.168.1.* Correct?

    [Preview 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 early test builds

Using 384.5 alpha 2 on AC88U and I can't log in with the ASUS app on my phone. Tried the HTTP and HTTPS from inside my house, on the WI-FI, not the internet. No go.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

So I recently upgraded my internet to 1gig/1gig fiber at my house and I'm wondering if I even need to use QOS anymore?? It's total overkill having a gigabit internet connection but it sure is fun downloading Steam games in a matter of minutes!

Netgear xr500 your experiences with this router.

Well I've had mine for a couple days and i think its going back. It drops wifi connection to my Asus N66u that i have set up as a media bridge out in my garage with a couple mining rigs hooked to it. Ive tried all the different combinations of wifi settings but it will lose connection after...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 Beta is now available

Wouldn't putting a 2nd router in repeater mode with the same SSID as your main router do about the same thing as the AiMesh business?
  17. G

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 pre-release test builds

Anyone notice if AiMESH is available on the AC88U with new alpha?
  18. G

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 pre-release test builds

Is the AiMesh supposed to be enabled/working with this firmware for the AC88U? After more reading, maybe not. Just curious cause it was working on the AC68R version.
