    Same thing here with my AC88U. It seems they're QOS engine doesn't know that most gaming packets are small and not full blast on your download capacity.

    So I see ASUS has the new 88U product page up and Merlin has added support for it in his firmware. Not sure when it will be available but I am excited to get one.     I returned my EA8500. The fact that it has full Qualcomm hardware but they didn't implement Qualcomm's "Streamboost" for a dynamic QOS system made it not worth the money for me.     I just bought a Linksys EA8500 today, coming from an ASUS RT_AC87U. Seems ok so far but it really seems to be lacking any sort of "Status" monitoring. You can't see how much internet traffic is being used and by what device or CPU load, RAM usage, etc... The QOS settings are pretty archaic too...
