    News [ 386.3_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I am confused so is the 'fragattach' patch in the latest alpha or just in the release? If the 'fragattach' patch is not in the alpha do i need to be concerned enough to switch back to the release version? Also can i do a 'dirty' switch from alpha to release if needed? Sorry for so many questions...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

I am trying to test VPN Client but am a little confused. The client in the latest Beta 2 is OpenVPN 2.5 and it does NOT support DES-CBC cipher correct but it does support either AES-256-CBC or AES-128-CBC which are not just same ciphers with different bit counts correct?

Would like to split smart home devices on a separate network

Interesting info but I do have an actual technical reason why I separate out my IoT devices on a separate 2.4 guest network and it isn't for bandwidth, security or need for complexity but actually for need of simplicity. The way my IoT configuration application works is it switches between IoT...

I currently have a x88u and am getting ready to setup AiMesh with a x86u.have Why do you think it is better to run ASUS stock on AiMesh nodes instead of Merlin? Also I have both a VPN server and client w/routing running. Do you know of any issues with this when using AiMesh? Thanks

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Thanks for the info. I hope you did not take my inquiry as an ask about 'when will it be done'. I was only asking so that I could decide if I wanted to keep the option enable in anticipation of an update when it is done OR disable it as it is what it is and will be nothing more. :)
