    Updated (from the January release, 22237, and I did a factory reset on that one since it had been quite a long time.). No reset on this one. I don't notice any differences yet, but was not having any issues with 22237. (Simple setup- no AIMesh, no AIprotection.)

    Installed. Decided to do a full factory reset and reconfigure as I hadn't done that in a while. Working well so far. (simple config- Pihole, no AI mesh, two networks, 13 clients.).

    Wouter- yes, that is what I did... I'm sorry, I wrote that above in a confusing way... . I meant to write that earlier I had been pressing the reset button, not the WPS. Yesterday, I did the hard reset about 5x, with the WPS as that link describes, and it did the above behavior: It would work...

    Sorry for the lag. Thanks for your replies. I was pressing the reset button, not the WPS button. I was able to get it into recovery mode, and start uploading the firmware. It made it to about 40% then started over, then made it to about 6%, then now is saying "Failed to recover the system"...

    Well, I killed mine with this update. Waited 5 minutes to do the manual reboot, I thought it was enough, but apparently not. Can't do firmware recovery, it can't find it. Think it will be turning into an RT-AX86U....

    FWIW, I just updated, don't notice any problems. I am not using mesh at all though- just as a single router + PiHole. Interesting that the AX3000 seems to be the first to get 489xx...
