    One funny thing is, I never turned this setting to on, I noticed it on one day. Finally got around to turning "Let's Encrypt" off and no more errors in the log. AND I can now connect to MYNAME.ASUSCOMM.COM and not have it connect to MY IP ADDRESS.

    @L&LD I only posted the error here to see it it is the cause of my VPN Issue. As now my client file has to have the WAN IP and not the DDNS Name.

    How often do you guys reboot?

    For this reason, my wife has her own router, her and a printer on that network. No more complaints from her when I have to play with scripts or upgrade/downgrade FW. :D ;)

    If memory serves me, in past Merlin FW upgrades, I had not seen this. I hope that it is nothing serious. Can seem to find much info on it.

    @ss911der Have you flashed the previous version of firmware? That is what I would try and then test the speed once again. If you are back to normal, then definitely something going on.

    I am looking to upgrade but want to do a clean install from scratch. All previous upgrades have been dirty. Will the router loose the DDNS setting when I reset back to factory settings?

    @martinr I have used this VPN Primer for NOOBS to set up openVPN. Lots of great info on getting VPN up and running. I have always been told to "Never" forward any ports.

    Help setting up VLAN on ASUS RT-AC68U

    @Martineau Finally had a chance to start from scratch. I don't think it was anything to do with Merlin or your script. VLAN 20 on my switch worked fine but my AP would not hand off an IP address to a client. One little change on my AP and all is fine. :oops: VLAN 20 working as it should...

    How to block ip camera from accessing the internet

    I currently have one camera setup in parental controls and have no issues view over VPN. BUT, the camera had to be taken off my NVR as parental controls could not pick it up by IP address. Once on my regular network, no issue. email alerts work as intended with just one line added to firewall-start.
