    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

ASCD messages came back every 30 mins or so for a 2.5 hour period this evening, then stopped (still 100/160). Very odd I think. Came up when no devices were roaming on and off their locations. When I look at wireless page now, it says I am currently at 157, as it did last I looked: Jun 19...

    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

I have a feeling the message is somehow linked to QoS, as it stopped as soon as I turned off QoS.

    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

I have verified. These entries are my Airport Express router reseting itself and needing to be reinitialized. It has happened 4 time over last 72 hours. Time to replace the 2010 unit. Was only being used to send Airplay music to my whole house speaker system (Concerto) - will get a new...

    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

The last message I got said 100/160, just like all the others. Not sure why the difference. But I should note that, as I was posting screenshots last night, I noticed that QoS was switched on, and I turned it off. I have 1000/1000 internet and do not believe it is useful (I get faster...

    Mesh Unbinding?

I believe it was in the JFFS directory. I also can do it now from the AI MESH page on the GUI. Look for the device that says cant connect

    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

I am pretty sure that the general log is unchanged. The only change I made to the router was to upgrade the firmware to latest Merlin 388.2.2 ROG version. I attached my wifi setup page. Two differences I see are (1) I have auto select channel including DFS checked, and ColDen does not; and...

    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

Here is the whole log since we left the house yesterday. First entry is my cellphone being dropped. Not sure what this entry means? I am assuming it is a device connected to one of the physical hardwired ports: Jun 18 13:53:02 kernel: eth2 (Int switch port: 1) (Logical Port: 1) (phyId: 2)...

    GT AX-6000 (Merlin): acsd: acs_set_chspec: 0xe872 (100/160) for reason ACS_CSTIMER message every 20 minutes

New GT AX-6000 router running latest Merlin. Still getting bugs out of set-up. This message flashes every 20 minutes or so in log. What is going on and how do I correct? Thanks for the input...

    Mesh Unbinding?

SSH to the router and search the config for mac address you bind. Remove that config, save, reboot router and nodes. Worked well. Thanks

Can I set up different wireless settings on AI Nodes in a mesh setup?

Sorry - let me clarify. I asked initially because I was trying to think ahead in planning a change to my network. One part of my house was not getting strong enough 5gHz signal so I decided to add another AP or node. I had a system with 3 RT92u units with one acting as a router and the other...

Can I set up different wireless settings on AI Nodes in a mesh setup?

I bought the ASUS GT-AX 6000 and have it set as main router and have the 3 RT-AX 92u units working as nodes. The only thing confusing me is that the dashboard page of the GT-AX6000 shows 3 wireless bands (5-1 and 5-2) but treats it as just 1 wireless 5gHz band on all the other pages. It is not...

Can I set up different wireless settings on AI Nodes in a mesh setup?

Right now I have three RT-AX92u units operated as one router with two mesh nodes. The router crashes periodically, often overheating. I see in the logs authorization and deauthorizatiion of devices far away from the nodes. So I was thinking add an additional router, and make it a more powerful...

    Merlin for RT-AXE7800

Anyone know if there is an option from Merlin or Gnuton or something similar?

Can I set up different wireless settings on AI Nodes in a mesh setup?

If I set them up at Access Points instead of nodes, don't I have more issues with devices getting "stuck" to the first router they bind to and not moving over to the stronger zone in next room? As I understand the advantage of mesh nodes, you get better coverage in "behind the nook and...

Can I set up different wireless settings on AI Nodes in a mesh setup?

That is too bad, especially since sometime the main router or node may have different capabilities.(like 6gHz band).

Can I set up different wireless settings on AI Nodes in a mesh setup?

I have two houses, each with their own AI mesh neworks. One has three RT-AX92U (a base router and two nodes) and the other has an RT-AX86U as its router and three ZEN-A4 minis. In each, I can log into the GUI and change the wireless settings for the main router, but I am not sure how I address...

    Issues with RT-AX92U running 388.2_2_0-gnuton1

Everything seems much more stable today with UPnP inactive. Log just filled with entries from iPad and iPhone moving from node to node.

RT- AX86U MESH with 3 ZenWiFi AX Mini nodes running Merlin 388.2_2

So far it works fine after one week. 42 devices on network, about 67% are connected to the nodes. Mix of 5 gHz (phones, computers and Roku boxes) and 2.5 gHz devices (light switches, door bells, alarm cameras etc)

RT- AX86U MESH with 3 ZenWiFi AX Mini nodes running Merlin 388.2_2

I recently upgraded my router to the latest Merlin. I then noticed that does not seem to be a 366 upgrade for the mini's that run as nodes. So they are running 3.0.0.4.386_49599 as mesh nodes while the RT- AX86U router is Merlin 388.2_2. Is this mixing 388 and 386 OK? I have had no obviously...
