    I think most devices should get their wifi driver downgraded. The 5300 and ac68u also have these issues.

    install scmerlin and activate Enable NTP boot watchdog script and set that to yes.

    i also have random connection drops or very slow speeds over wifi with 386.7 so i went back to 386.5_2 which is super stable for me. So i think there is more going on than blaming dirty upgrades. it's not actual connection drops when i checked my logs but more like no pages loading or super slow...

    I have both labeled differently one is mynetwork the other mynetwork5g and smart connect off since that doesn’t work with aimesh.

    I went back to 386.5_2 because it's stable and I had lots of connection drops on 368.7 also my connection was 2/3 slower.

    reboot your router and try upgrading it again. usually works for me when i get this error.

    merlin doesn't work with these types of releases because he gets gpl directly from asus developers.

    remove your usb stick, and reboot the router then and try reuploading the firmware again.
