    conntrack seems to work, but so far, all the traffic that it is capturing are UDP. Would I also need to do tcpdump to catch that traffic? Or, is all ntp traffic UDP? Now that I know about conntrack, I'll research how to do more with it. Thanks for getting me started with this.

    Is it possible to dynamically display the requests for the NTP service, kind of like what Diversion does for its requests? I'd like to see what devices are requesting the time, and how often.

    Thanks, looks like that was the problem. I should have suspected that after I updated Entware last week. I thought to update unbound at that time but did not check if any other scripts needed to be updated.

    For the blocking lists, this discussion has been to use Skynet to do the blocking. But what if you added a blocking list to Diversion, say firehol_level1? Is it equally as effective as adding it to Skynet?

    How would I do save/restore settings from cli? I want to run a script. But this is only a stopgap. I want to be able to save and restore across different Merlin versions to get as many settings as possible. Doing save/restore and save jffs only works with the same version.

    Is there a way to backup and restore the VPN Director rules from a directory somewhere? I reset my configuration and now I'm trying to get back to the config as it was before.

    I'd guess, reset to factory defaults, possibly reload 7_2 if that is not the version that is displayed after the reset, but then manually update all your settings. Likely the CFG file is the reason you are locked out.

    That bug's been there forever. I decided to create a script to reset the GUI every 4 hrs. Since I did that, I've had no lockup problems. Now the only GUI problem I have is that GUI webpages do not always completely display properly, but I've learned to live with that.
