    I would like to request a dns rewrite feature. Either in diversion or directly into the Asus-Merlin firmware. I state it here because it's probably easier and faster to implement even though i think a feature like this should be in the firmware.

    Wouldn't adguard be better for this purpose? In adguard under Filters -> blocked services, you can block services and add a schedule at the bottom of that page.

    I don't know what mechanism that controls that. I have experience periods where there is no ads on my phone and then i have experience periods where i get hammerd with ads.     You can't get adblocking for youtube through DNS filter programs. They inject the ads into the player.

    They need to come with updates more often, and cut down on the number of different router versions in order to keep up with consistency of firmware updates.

    It blocks services such as reddit, YouTube, Netflix and what not. In adguard you can choose to toggle all and then unblock the services you actually want access to. EDIT:
