    Ops, my mistake, the AC86U is actually 658mW in lower channel, but still it’s much lower than the R7800

    This is R7800 FCC report, you can see it has almost the same power between high and low channel, so if we do a comparison between it and the AC86U, it’s like 230mW vs 995mW It’s better to do it at channel 157, then it will be 999mW vs 957mW, and see who perform better

    I measured it by using PC(PCI-E SSD & gigabit LAN) to transfer file to my iPad Pro, higher channel always run about 10MB/s more than lower channel in my room.     R7800 X4S: Antenna specifics info wanted anyone know?

    I'm not sure the spec of R7800 antenna but I did try to put R7800 antenna on my AC86U, the signal and speed seems lower than the original AC86U antenna, few dBm lower and transfer speed from my PC to iPad Pro dropped from 68MB/s to 59MB/s, never try it vice versa
