    It's working beautifully:

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.0.0 alpha

I have a question on setting custom parameters. When I enter 'docsis' for download and upload it doesn't seem to load that parameter. However, it does load 'ingress' as a download parameter. Here is my cake-qos.conf.add file: ULPRIOQUEUE="besteffort" DLPRIOQUEUE="besteffort"...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.0.0 alpha

I wouldn't put too much trust into dslreports test. Some days I get a perfect A+ and other days I get a B or even C without changing any settings of cake. Edit: Don't get me wrong, I still think it's generally a useful tool to check your settings in cake.

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.0.0 alpha

Seems to work well, squeezed out 3x A+ in dslreport by changing ingress and egress both to besteffort and enabled ack-filter for uploads. Just getting this error in the log: Mar 19 13:58:12 CakeQOS-Merlin: Configuring Cake options... Mar 19 13:58:12 lldpd[1020]: removal request for address of...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

I had some time to test the Cake implementation, everything seems to work as expected on my Comcast connection with 200/12Mbit. I tested the following scenario: Download of torrent stream, upload of a large file to OneDrive and watching different streams on Roku and Xbox of Netflix, Hulu and...

Sweet, wasn't aware of that - loading the new beta now.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

Thanks for the warning, I'll wait with testing since I'm on Comcast and need the wash option in Cake-QoS active for downloads. Unless there is a way to change the cake config file for your implementation to add extra options?

What WPA version are you using? WPA2 or WPA3 or WAP2/WAP3

    Cloudflare 1.1.1.2 & 1.1.1.3 DoT

I'm using 1.1.1.2 for the last 7 months. I switched from 1.1.1.1. to .2 right after they added DoT to the filtered DNS options. Haven't had any issues since. tcpdump shows all traffic on port 853 (example output below) 20:21:10.937618 IP XX.XXX.XXX.XXX.35994 > 1.1.1.2.853: Flags [P.], seq...

CakeQOS Cake-QOS - where to find it?

Just let it do its stuff after setting your download/upload speed and WAN packet overhead. That's the beauty of Cake, install and forget.

FlexQoS FlexQoS - Why didn't it work?

Exactly of problems like this I switched to Cake-QoS a while ago and never looked back. Merlin is working on brining Cake-QoS to the firmware as an option. It's available in the latest alpha release from yesterday.

    [Alpha] 386.2

I'm also one of those unlucky Comcast customers (It's the only game in town). Using cake since its release and never had any issues with it. For me it works much better than any of the other integrated options. I'll have to keep using the script since I need wash and some other Comcast specific...

[Alpha] DNSFilter also works when static DNS addresses are used by LAN clients ?

Also make sure you set the DNS filter in LAN settings to Router.
