    RT-AC1900P work for this test?

    Custom firmware build for R9000

Very cool! I think this should gain a good amount of interest once the word gets out. Is the CPU still running at full speed, or is it throttling down when possible? And I assume you added the ability to use OpenVPN client, same as your 7800 build? Any thoughts about adding future support for...

And when you do? My IPVanish and PIA VPN tunnels both work fine and renegotiate fine. Keep in mind OpenVPN is running the latest version.

Interesting, my test case WAS actually in FF v54 64bit. As well, I have firefox set to "Never remember any history". I personally don't see an issue with the cached page (at least not in the scope of our home routers), if that is in fact what causes this as you and I seem to have a small...

Which I would believe is good, right? I don't use upnp, but I believe in other firmware (DD-WRT/OpenWRT(LEDE) comes to mind), it is the default behavior to hold rules, unless specified to clean after x amount of time, or on reboot.

First timeout and re-login works as expected. Need to test it one more time though..... I am the typo king and thinking I fat fingered by PW on the first re-login attempt and was challenged a second time. Log shows one failed, one successful. Pretty sure self-inflicted, but will now in 60+...

Loaded up 26B6, so far uneventful. Waiting for my 60 min timeout :-)

Thanks John, will test tonight. Anything I need to consider when going from B5 to B6, seeing that I setup by hand on a fresh B5 install? I do use VPN and have both my CA cert on jffs as well as my public key for ssh on jffs. And side bar question, does your nvram tool also cover objects...

Thanks John. And FYI, after my wipe and manual setup, everything has been fine as expected.

John, for users already on your beta 26B5 build, guess it doesn't make sense to go to this build. Would you be updating your beta build with the same updates that were not included at the time of release?

Found a Bug in ASUS firmware..

Years. A quick google search would confirm that.

Register is on fire today, you see large parts of windows 10's source code leaking online? https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/06/23/windows_10_leak "The leaked code is Microsoft's Shared Source Kit: according to people who have seen its contents, it includes the source to the base Windows 10...

John, just wanted to let you know I went ahead and did a full nvram reset, flashed back to your beta, and set everything up by hand. Will update you if something eventful happens again. (In a less grumbly way) I get the suspicion that something was fubar in my nvram space after the update to...

:( John...... I'll just brush it off and excuse it as me doing something dumb like pressing the reset button while actively using the router (though I have never pressed it, so not sure why we are stuck on this? Too coincidental to happen less than 24 hour after a new build)..... No worries ;)

Regardless, the router is static and I am not pressing the power or reset buttons. Reset on the router has not been pressed since I owned it I believe.... I am just reporting, like I opened with " Obligated to report ". That's the point of of releasing a Beta firmware right? To field test it...

What I mean by the VPN tunnel going down is the WAN was seemingly dropped, so the "uptime" was correct as far as I can see. And yes, the CFE Recovery WebServer is where I was brought to..... then the router crashed and rebooted. Was going to take a screenshot to show you, but though naw, he...

Obligated to report, had my first odd occurrence this morning. Flashed the Beta last night around 11 PM EST or so, uneventful. This morning decided to start using ssh keypairings on all my raspi devices at home. Which prompted me to start changing default ssh ports from 22 to something else...

Am I wrong with seeing this as a security concern? If the creds are stored in the header, can't that be exploited? That's all I am after, hardening..... If you tell me it's not exploitable, I will of course believe you. I am just so consumed with security lately at work and getting everything...
