    Thanks - in the end I answered my own question. It does not drag them along but you can easily change the assignments under interface assignments VLANS tab just like you change the main interface. Easy peasy.

    Hi, hopefully quick question - apologies if it a repeat. I have successfully set-up my 6100 and have added my desired VLANs to the LAN connection (in my example igc0). I would like to set up the 10GB ports to feed my switches on ix0 (Needs all VLANs) and ix1 (only needs a single VLAN)...

    OK so if I set the Main LAN to 192.168.10.0/24 as an example, that would free up the 192.168.1.0 network for IoT rather than choosing another VLAN?

    @ddaenen1 - when you set this up, did you need to assign static IPs to the WAP571s? And if so, is that set within pfSense somewhere?

    This is how (RESTCONF unchecked) I have been running since this advisory came out. I have not seen any issues whatsoever. That said, I will be replacing the router shortly I think.

    @Tech9 - great input - thx. In that same vein then, if I were to go 4100, would you see benefit from the "Max" config (128 GB M.2 NVMe) or would the Base config (16 GB eMMC) be sufficient? Unless I am missing something, that is the only difference.

    Yes - have been comparing the two closely. Looks like the big differences are the 2-core vs quad-core processor, extra 4GB RAM and the 10GB SFP Ports. Either way I would be using one of the 2.5GB LAN ports as WAN. I get future-proofing for 10GB SFP but my real concern is more the processor...

When we first set up our Ring Doorbell (we have several other Ring cameras as well) we set the alert boundaries to avoid getting hits off of the street passersby. Somewhere along the line these boundaries went away and we needed to reset them...
