    Thanks @Sky1111 that's a good way of looking at it. I need more bandwidth and want to keep 2.4ghz dedicated to iot devices. A workaround could be do stick to the single ax11000 that didn't really have that issue. I love the AX86U but if it cannot handover without dropping/interrupting my work...

    Thanks, I did it that way and it started working! However, I just did the upgrade on the main router and it's messy. All my settings have to be redone. Is this normal? Also, now should I be trying to re-add the aiMesh a different way, or bring it back into the same room, etc etc?

    So in recent news, AiMesh is currently working using the 2.5gbe backhaul. But considering the reliability, I'm sure it won't last. Fingers crossed but I won't hold my breath. Why the instability? Should I go to beta 3 or back to stock Asus firmware? What are everyone's thoughts on this?
