    Second hand 86u all day everyday AS LONG AS MFG 2019. The 2018 routers are notorious for issues. Get seller to show you bottom of box and you will find MFG year.

    Yeah 2.4ghz band dead is one of the faults in the 2018 lineup that won't fix itself! If it has ASUS warranty and you are in the UK I don't know why they would make you send it to US?

    The 2018 models are renowned for having issues. You want 2019 MFG year onwards. Try updating again (with nothing apart from wan plugged in) and if the issue happens again send it back and get a new one under warranty.

    That is not an efficient way to report bugs what so ever. There has to be a better process for reporting bugs in Merlin that pertain to Asus code without having to change firmware on a router. That is a ridiculous waste of time and completely inefficient.

    Got it, so the feedback i submitted while using merlin but just by visiting the feedback url form has been submitted correctly, yes? Like I said this problem stems from ASUS wrt code not yours.

    I only limit certain devices download and upload via bandwidth limiter. Is your script better for this and will it work on upload bandwidth limiter when using with VPN Client (currently in QOS upload limiter breaks when using VPN Client)

    Don't reboot through webui as @Butterfly Bones thread will tell you.| Do it at the mains but not through webui. Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't waste anymore time trying to troubleshoot.

    So why does download qos limiting still work when using tun0 (vpn interface) and only upload limiter stops working on devices?
