[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

I've run into this issue as well with two different routers (AC68U and AX88U). Still haven't found a solution for it.

I'm actually curious about this as well. Happy to contribute, just not sure how.

    Mcast error

I actually started noticing this as well. Does anyone know if this is problematic?

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Is there a way to have wireguard reliably cover ipv6 as well? I started using it this time around and noticed if I don't use a browser-based socks proxy then there are leaks. Edit: Specifically location leaks; not dns.

    Works brilliantly! Thanks!

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

I wouldn't call it a waste. I'm pretty happy with it. Laptop's wifi speed even just locally is about 1.5x (picked up a AX1650 as well). The wireguard thing is just a minor, temporary setback. And I agree with Merlin--conceptually there shouldn't be a reason why wireguard can't work with the...

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Somewhat off-topic, but I recently picked up a AX88U to play around with and figured I'd give wireguard a shot there as well. No issues with entware, diversion, or anything else, but can't get wireguard to setup properly even with the same config on an AC86U with Merlin 384.13. Basic info...

Not sure how to embed images, but here's an imgur link with explanations. Hope that helps!

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Yes. This is my configuration. Router proxies all data (except for a few isolated machines) through wireguard VPN, and external clients connect to router via OVPN. Would've liked to do both via wireguard, but I wasn't able to figure out how to run a wireguard client and server on the router...

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

I'm running policy as well. It just occasionally stops routing anything on policy (probably once every day or two) so I was wondering if it'd be possible to put together a script to auto restart if it detects it's unable to route for whatever reason.

Second this. Mine usually goes down about once a day and I have to manually restart wireguard. Otherwise it works flawlessly on 384.12

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

I managed to get each running separately, but I can't get them to run properly together. If I run S50wireguard-server with S50wireguard, I get the module error mentioned previously, and only the instance that was last loaded will work properly. My intent is to have both a server and client...

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Tried that and when trying to start concurrently with the client it produces "insmod: can't insert '/opt/lib/modules/wireguard.ko': File exists"

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Is it possible to run wireguard both as server and client? Currently it runs amazing as a client, but still using ovpn for clients to reach the router.

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Tap didn't work either. Thing is, I'm not sure it's even a wg issue. Ran into the same problem when I routed the VPN ip range through main, and even when the router was running through an openvpn client through the same provider. Only time it seems to work is if the router isn't connected to any...

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Tried that as well. No joy. Here's the openvpn.conf and wg-policy if it helps: ip rule del prio 11000 2>/dev/null ip rule del prio 11111 2>/dev/null ip rule del prio 11112 2>/dev/null ip rule add from 192.168.71.125 lookup main prio 11000 ip rule add from 192.168.71.0/24 lookup 117 prio 11111...

I did, and it didn't seem to help. Maybe there's a problem with my OpenServer config? https://imgur.com/a/mO8fKxb

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Thanks for all the help with this. With the routing policies this is amazing. One thing I've noticed is that with the router running wireguard as a client, it seems like the router OpenVPN server can no longer route any traffic (even locally). Specifically, cell phone can connect to the router...

[Experimental] WireGuard for HND platform (4.1.x kernels)

Hi, this has been super helpful! What would the policy be if I wanted to exclude an IP rather than include a specific IP?
