    Had the same setup 5300 most favourable channel, you’ll get 350-450 ax86 via AC you’ll get 400-500 ax86 via wifi 6, you‘ll get 850-950 these are best case.

    Or put the ax86 up as router downstairs and move the ax6000 as mesh upstairs. Or would that be stupid? as I feel these issues are a 35x vs 36x branch thing?

    Ok so that’s why the unbound script is broken as well on the ax6000 then. It’s can’t find entware Diversion and Skynet work fine now though. I might look into adguard, though it doesn’t seem plug&play for a gui warrior like me. ;)

    I managed to install the old way, pasting the install link now have an issue with unbound not finding entware while entware 64 bit is installed by diversion (running GT-AX6000 with the new 386.6 merlin)

    GT-AX6000 or RT-AC86u as router in mesh system

    I want to leverage the 2.5gb wired backhaul and my new intel 12900k system has 2.5gb networking as well. when I use the ax86u as router, I can connect with 2.5gb backhaul and still use the 2nd 2.5gb port on the 6000 for connecting my PC on the other hand the 6000 seems the more robust router...

    Just upgraded my AC5300 to an AX6000. installed the 386.6 FW enabled jffs could start AMTM (FW) reformatted usb via amtm menu (ext4) try to install AMTM and get below error?!! any idea how to fix this?

    It works on my ac5300 as well, aggregated, but only manual IP, the Synology not accept a DHCP any longer.

    Only issue /I have is that my Synology (link aggregated) no longer agreed with dhcp, I worked with a manual address though. Any thoughts? Rebooted router and unify managed switch. Worked flawless under 314.19?

    Luckily I didn’t waste time on upgrading my 5300 yet. To many issues here. I am grateful though for you guys testing the waters, but temps still raising by 10dgr. and these disconnects, ir seems to me we are far away from a stable branch.

    64 pages, beta2. What’s the verdict for the ac5300? Upgrade or stay put for now? I’ve got no issues atm. don’t mind investing some time on a clean reinstall, as long as it’s worth it.
