    Strange and Stressful

Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black? I do like to learn about networking, especially anything to do with Asus-WRT Merlin. Although I know very little, I know exponentially more than I did when I came here.

    Strange and Stressful

That might be some good advice. I could skip Nextdns, but I've got accustomed to my other scripts.

    Strange and Stressful

Yea, it seemed like a good thing, maybe not. I couldn't ssh into it from anywhere. All I got was a blank terminal, no username & password, nothing

    Strange and Stressful

My PC would not connect to the internet, local network, or the router by Firefox, or by ssh through putty. Couldn't connect to anything. I restored my pc to a couple of days earlier prior, and same situation. I managed to connect to router on a laptop, and all four cores were pegged out at 100%...

    NextDNS: Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

That does seem to be the case. It's difficult to get help or grumble or make a suggestion. I hope it improves.

    NextDNS: Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

And it may be, but NextDNS seems to be more manageable to those of us with a lesser knowledge of these tools. NextDNS seems easier to me now, but the contrary may be proven.

    NextDNS: Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

I like it so far. If I could just figure out how to use it with Survshark VPN.

    NextDNS: Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

Yea, me too, my bad. It was turning over it's weekly leaf when I looked, no data yet. It's up now. I compared my config with another that was posted, and only difference was mine had "auto-activate true"

    NextDNS: Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

Thanks, I've got to take a close look at the config settings. It looks like skynet is down, I don't think it's compatible with it. It's been an old friend that I'll miss if I stay with NextDNS. Or it may be a new friend again.

    NextDNS: Thumbs up, Thumbs down?

Anyone have any comments regarding NextDNS on your own or others experience primarily installed at the Router level? Does it present a lot of challenges with, or disable other scripts?

    NO Internet?

ok, thanks. I installed it at the router level, I thought that was the proper procedure after reading a little about it. It is easy enough to uninstall they say. Thanks again.

    NO Internet?

I installed NextDNS and expected my router WAN DNS fields to be populated with NextDNS but nothing changed, although NextDNS is running. I don't know how it works obviously. My ISP uses google DNS servers.

    NO Internet?

DoT is off, WAN DNS is google (fast dns). Time is snyc'd, 3 clients that are easily checked now have internet. So, back to a stripped down normal, sort of. BTW, I really appreciate the help. Where to go from here?

    NO Internet?

I've got DoT enabled, but no VPN clients unless its an unused leftover or something. I had a VPN server. It's still showing the Quad9's as WAN DNS servers. Maybe a reboot will cure that. Still don't have internet for some clients. They are all present on the local network, they just don't...
