    With the ac on !!! This can't be good. I already bought the router and With the ac off and ambient temperature around 34 with 4 lan ports used I'm seeing between 80 to 85 C . When the ac is on it goes down to 68-70 C.

    it seems like the Reboot Scheduler is not working properly. I've set mine to reboot once a week every Sunday at 6 AM and I noticed the router rebooting this morning at 6 AM exactly. I checked my settings and only Sunday was checked.

    Is it really fine though? I love this router but from what I'm reading online here and in other places this router is getting bricked all the time. If it's not the temps then something else is causing all these bricked Routers.

    Sorry about that I just saw a 20c increase and I was startled. To clarify again, I was using cooling fans that stopped working so it's an issue that has nothing to do with the new firmware.

    never mind. turns out the fans stopped working complexly :( I'm using this link to see the temp http://router.asus.com/ajax_coretmp.asp without the fans I'm seeing a temp exceeding 80c, before that my temps never got over 60c

    RAM usage in this firmware is noticeably lower than previous ones. CPU temps however are at an all time high. if it's reaching the temps I'm seeing with two cooling fans on I cant imagine what temps other users are getting.

    The wifi is dropping on the second ac86u I'm using as a aimesh node. There is no consistent time for this happening. Sometimes it takes a week and other times in a day or two. A restart solves the problem though.

    One week now using this firmware on a dirty upgrade and it's been working fine. Even the device list is working better than ever.
