    AC86U sometimes powers completely off during reboot

    19 days ago my first AC86U was delivered. In that time I rebooted it lots o' times without failure. Yesterday my second AC86U was delivered. Today, on maybe the sixth time I rebooted it, it died. The back says it was made in Vietnam in 2020.

    Wow, there's more to my question than I realized! (All the vendors specify speeds as "up to." I dislike that and similar terms, like "as many/few as," "as high/low as." Those are marketing terms. Give me some measurement over the distribution of the attribute, if only the mean or median...

    I have an overkill 64G drive in my current AC86U, but I'm getting another one which will have the same configuration. At least for now the only scripts I'm using are Diversion and SkyNet. What's a comfortable but not wasteful capacity?

    Possibly unrelated, but I get a blank page from www.walmart.com/grocery/ unless I disable the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials add-on in Firefox. This started recently, and is independent of whether SkyNet is running.

    What is the relation between this utility and the GUI's "Save setting" and "Backup JFFS partition" functions? If I wanted to have an ability to clone my router in case my pet elephant steps on it, how would these two compare? I guess it's an issue of what nvram items are saved by "Save setting"?

    OK! Did steps 1, 2, and 3. In step 1, WAN/Internet Connection/WAN DNS Setting, I left the other settings below the DNS server IPS at No, No, No, Auto, None.

    Max ambient operating temperature -- AC86U?

    OK, thanks. The high ambient temp is to save on air conditioning electric bills while I'm away for a few days. I won't be able to check internal temps because the 86U is not yet configured for safe access from the WAN. But I'd like to leave it on so I can access my Wi-Fi connected thermostats...
