RT AX86U - Help me improving my latency please! Bufferbloat?

Hey. I think I found the issue. Something is bugged in the Merlin firmwares. Try the 386.2_4 FW and let me know if you have bad buffer scores. This fixed the issue for me. Not sure what’s causing it

The coax can’t go directly into the Tv. It goes into the STB. I don’t need to bridge the asus if it’s the only router

    Hardware acceleration for AX86u

You can actually get rid of the Fios router ; don’t even need it w the moca adapter
  17. X

    Hardware acceleration for AX86u

Exactly right. The ONT is just a conversion point for the fiber signal. It has 2 singles. 1 RJ45 for internet, 1 coax for TV. Coax is just for TV. the Ethernet is just for internet. That make sense? Anyway I can optimize this setup? Let me know!

    Hardware acceleration for AX86u

MOCA IS NOT A ROUTER. THE ONT HAS 2 connections. 1 brings internet aka RJ45. the other brings TV AKA CABLE. THE CABLE WIRE GOES INTO THE MOCA Adapter. The internet wire goes into the internet port in the router
  19. X

    Hardware acceleration for AX86u

A moca adapter is not a router.
