    Read thread... issues occurred both latest stock Asus firmware as well as Merlin 386.4. To me, $100 is worth not dealing with the problem anymore, chasing down a solution, and running old firmware with vulnerabilities in the meantime.

    So I have some good news for all those having issues with TP-LINK Smart Bulbs. Thanks to the great input from @Elmer that the KL130 bulbs have no issues, I decided to try upgrading one of my old LB110 to a KL130. KL130 bulbs work no issues with 386.4.... no more disassociation / association...

    I just looked at thread again and I think the beta fixes a different problem. @Sp3kt3r reported Auth / DEAUTH problems in the log (many of us are seeing dissociation / association) and that using WIFI legacy with 386.4 did not fix his issues so I suspect is problem was different.

    Thanks Elmer, I just bought a KL130 and KL135 to try. All my bulbs are much older. Hopefully that will fix the bulb situation but I recently noticed that my new smart air purifier also does not work with 386.4. Hopefully the ASUS beta mentioned by @bbq will eventually fix our issues. -Mike

    Yes tried that and no luck. However, bulbs all work fine with WIFI 6 enabled with 386.3.2. Only way the bulbs work with 386.4 is with WIFI Legacy mode.
