    About any router except ASUS :) Remove Usb Drive hooked Power off the router. Keep pressed WPS button and power on the router. Keep pressed WPS until leds began to flash rapidly and then release WPS.

    @RMelin, I was wrong, channel has changed after reboot. One question: the speed drop is linked to QoS or this adjustment will happen anyway with or without QoS? I suspect my wifi camera system is the source of the interference as its aligning, by design, to the same channel of the router.

    I am pretty sure channels have not changed after the reboot. The only variable that makes a difference is QoS. But...I will check, good point. Thanks!

    Finally got the drop of speed...:D from 100Mbs to 50Mbs (download). Turned OFF QoS, reboot, and everything is back to normal (same behaviour as previous version 15850). If it behaves like 15850, speed will never drop again as far as QoS is kept OFF. AiProtection has no impact on speed drop...at...

    Do you guys use Firewall ?

    I was once highly recommended by an ASUS developer to turn ON DoS protection..., I trust the developer knows well the innerworks of the firmware and I have it ON since then. But don't ask me why this was "highly" reccomended. :)

    I have AiProtection and Firewall turned ON. AiProtection provides a real added value in terms of protection without any noticeable overheads, at least here.

    Known issue, they left ON debugging logs on 382, so your logs will be filled with garbage.

    Wrong thread and section. You are running vortex on a Netgear R7000. Probably that feature is not supported on that porting of Asus wrt. Best to ask to developer directly.

    I don't see this problem here... I got this once from an older firmware. A reboot was enough to fix it. Otherwise try to start clean. Reset to default and load manually your settings (do not use a saved backup).

    I have AiProtection and IPV6 turned ON with no issues. The Ai features and IPV6 have been OFF on all ASUS firmware as many other features, I don't see the link.

    Well I suspect I am not alone, but I don't reboot this router weekly or montly... all works as it should. If I am alone, I must be lucky ;)
