[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Probably your fw is way too near prefect thus unable to find much bugs. By the way I'm using N66U in AP Mode running only 5Ghz channel. In Wireless Log; I have no idea but notice that the RSSI and SNR is always reported as 0. It does have just that it a very simplified log only.

RT-N66U on 374.41 upgrading to 378.51 Just choose the *.trx ?

Older than 378.50 meaning you have to restore to factory defaults if your current firmware is 378.50 or below. This includes the current firmware you are using which is 374.41. But since you are using N66U, you might want to consider using john's fork of Merlins firmware...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Totally wowed by this fw. Never knew my N66U has such high wan to lan throughput. Its always been 880 to 900Mbps. After this upgrade from stock to John Fork's, I'm constantly getting 910 - >920Mbps of download speed. Appreciate the hard work done. Thanks

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.50 is out

Looks like Teaming on Lan port 1 and 2 hasn't been resolved. I'm still getting frequent freezes when remote control on teaming enabled PC on port 1 and 2. Other then that, using any of two Ethernet ports 2, 3 and 4 will not have any freezing issues. Could it be due to the architecture for...

    [CLOSED] Asuswrt-Merlin 378.50 Beta 1 is out

Hi RMerlin, With this new .378.50 built, is there any heads up from Asus pertaining to the Port 1 and 2 Teaming features enabled for RT-AC87 or has it been incorporated? I'm always getting random freeze if I RDP into one of my 2008R2 PC or watching video files through shared folders with...

ASUS RT-AC87 Firmware - Official Releases

Doubt so as Asus has too many routers to do so if they wanna incorporate a temp monitoring page. Merlin does so because he has the passion to improve Asus's already good firmware for the sake of the community.

ASUS RT-AC87 Firmware - Official Releases

Did you apply any paste in between the Cores and IHS or just replacing the pads in between the IHS and heatsink? But I think my temps are acceptable. Your CPU temps was at 84°c previously. Thus dropping to 70°c might seems a lot. Mine was 73°c originally therefore replacing the thermal...

ASUS RT-AC87 Firmware - Official Releases

For me to only achieve such minor temperature different isn't worth the hassle. Moreover it's just the CPU core temperature. Just adding a laptop cooler to the router is good enough to see significant temperature drop throughout all 3 cores. Or maybe my technique of applying the thermal...
