Does it exist? SFP+ to dual gigabit Ethernet

So the device I'm asking about (plugs into SFP port and has two gigabit ethernet ports) does exist? I don't need anyone asking or telling me why I don't need this. I simply asked and if it does exist, simply reply with the link to it...

Does it exist? SFP+ to dual gigabit Ethernet

Just looking. I haven't found anything useful to use with the SFP port on my router and thought something like what I mentioned in the OP might be cool. Would also let me dump the 5-port switch I have connected just because I'm short one port on my router.

Does it exist? SFP+ to dual gigabit Ethernet

I'm looking for something that plugs into a SFP+ slot on a router then has two gigabit ports on the other end. What I'm trying to do is utilize the 10Gbps SFP+ port on my router with the aggregated NICs on my QNAP.

    RAX200 assigning NAS link-local addresses.

I setup port aggregation on my RAX200. I selected LACP-IEEE 802.3ad. In my QNAP NAS, it shows NIC1 and 2 are teamed in 802.3ad "dynamic" mode and that it's getting a working connection. The RAX200's webUI says "Ethernet Port Aggregation Status: Active" When I view Attached Devices in the...

    RT-AX89X

Have you tried getting it exchanged by the place you purchased it from? Like a couple of us have mentioned; you might possibly have a bad unit. All that stuff you've tried might not fix anything if the unit has a defective component...

    Configuring IPv6 in the RAX200?

Awesome. So like this: Cloudflare 2606:4700:4700:0000:0000:1111:0000:0000 Google 2001:4860:4860:0000:0000:8888:0000:0000 Seems to be working properly now. Thanks!

Broadcom wifi 6 router v Qualcomm wifi 6 router

Pretty much the same experience here. Started off with a RAX200, tried an AX89X and am now back on the RAX200 despite liking the stock Asus firmware much more than the stock Netgear firmware. Connection stability and speeds were better for me with the RAX200. Household has multiple iPhone 11...

    Configuring IPv6 in the RAX200?

So I enabled IPv6 in my RAX200. Everything looks ok and is working fine, however I'm not sure how to manually enter the DNS servers I prefer: Cloudflare: 1.1.1.1 Google: 8.8.8.8 Cloudflare lists this as their IPv6 DNS: 2606:4700:4700::1111 Google lists this as their IPv6 DNS...

Anyone have more RAX200 hidden pages?

    RT-AX89X

Ah maybe it's the chipsets. I believe Broadcom is Apple's supplier for wifi/BT chipsets for iPhones and iPads.

    RT-AX89X

I'm noticing that now too. Also, I'm not sure what setting might be causing it or if it's because the wifi chipset on the iPhone is "more compatible" with it, but with my RAX200, the iPhone would always auto-connect to its 5GHz network once I got to a certain point upstairs. With the AX89X...

    RT-AX89X

Ok, aside from the client list not showing a device I have a reserved IP for, I'm noticing that my iPhone 11 Pro Max's (two in the house) are not automatically connecting to the AX89X even though in their settings they are set to auto-join it. They keep connecting to my Ubiquiti Unifi AP-AC...

You have a faulty unit. I haven't experienced any random dropped connection.

RT-AC5300 client list not listing all devices

I'm having this issue on a RT-AX89X. I've added all my devices to the "Manually Assigned IP" list in the "DHCP Server" tab. However, when I go to "Network Map" then "View List" under Clients, one of the devices I added to the manually assigned IP list (that I know is on and working) does not...

    RT-AX89X

I haven't had time yet to do that kind of testing. Still trying to figure out this issue with the Netgear switch not showing up as a connected device.

    RT-AX89X

New issue. I've added all my devices to the "Manually Assigned IP" list in the "DHCP Server" tab. However, when I go to "Network Map" then "View List" under Clients, one of the devices I added to the manually assigned IP list (that I know is on and working) does not appear in the list of...

Ah ok, I had to update the firmware for Smart Connect to appear there.

    RT-AX89X

So in the Netgear RAX200's settings, there's one that's enabled: - Enable Smart Connect - Let the router intelligently select the best WiFi band 2.4GHz or 5GHz for your WiFi connections. Smart Connect requires 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks to use the same WiFi network name (SSID), security options...

    RT-AX89X

It's available now on Amazon (shipped and sold by Amazon). It has not gone out of stock in the past two days. Contemplating AX89X vs. Unifi Dream Machine and two UniFi NanoHD units. Not happy with the Netgear RAX200.
