    Also read In the Alexa app, disable and re-enable the Bose (Not for SoundTouch) skill That can be a problem, but there is lots of bose alexa stuff, that u have probably tried. But my brother has a problem with his alexa that was built in to his asus router. So he gave up with it.

    Try as you are, if it seems ok, the speaker has bluetooth just use that to connect to your alexa it's how I connect my speakers up. Maybe the alexa in the speaker is faulty. Also make a support ticket to bose about it.

    Ho do you have the speaker connected to the ax82u via wire if not you may have to try see if it sorts it? Also have you have set up remote access to the ax82u for the alexa?(Think that's just needed tho to use asus voice)

    Hi thanks for the replys, I will be on FTTP from the 24th so my dsl will be useless. I will have to use the ISP device as I be needing the phone so VOIP. I'm not sure of the options yet in the ISP device, for bridge mode etc, will worrie about that in time. For me, the best way to stop bloat...

    If I'm playing say world of warcraft, then my son updates call of duty on his xbox. Warcraft game is unplayable. Unless I meddle, my ping will go from 15ms too 3000+ms. So not right.

    The dsl has a modem. Check here for bugs etc. https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng But think someone on here was having problems i may be wrong. Do a search.

    I have not messed with cake, but think there is a issue with the ax82u and cake from what I've read. But can not say as I havent tried cake QOS.

    Also if you go to Bose and find your product, see if they have any updates for the device. Else could be like smart tvs they work untill cover stops then they dont maintain any more and app etc stop to work.

    There is a topic on here about it, have to search, but more less is a security risk + interferes with the wifi, an can cause wifi dropouts. Think that right?

    But guess it should be DSL VDSL WAN(PTM). But this is not for wireless, but more for the connection to the ISP. P.s ISP dont like it when where not using there device and will offer no help.

    I can try to help if your from the UK, who is your ISP and is it connected to the master phone socket? Yet the asus setup wizard should set all for you?

    Use bandwith limiter and then in the mobile app set up each device, I have a 50-12 line and set most at 20 down and 2 up. And disable if downloading Else adaptive manual and set 2 mb off what you have there. And I have reported to asus this under my nat issue...

    Other thing to watch out for is wifi direct, if anything has it disable.

    Ok, so it's just a alexa big speaker, have you gone In to the alexa app and re did the wifi setup, I've not had any problems with my Alexas or echo's yet I'm not using a 3ed party alexa. Have you checked on Bose forums see if others had a issue?
