    My package is 1Gb upload and download. Wired speed is 945 up and 925 down. Wireless using an Oppo android phone maximum speed was 850 up and 875 down. This is all with speedtest.net.

    That is great to news. This was sent to me by ASUS as a fix to some problems I have with Microsoft Teams. I have found it very stable as well, only reverted to 45898 as I need Parental Control.

    The only thing I can suggest is downgrade all units to 42095 then, manually factory reset them all using pin in the bottom of the units. Set up your mesh and then try updating using UI. My setup is DHCP with wireless backhaul to 3 nodes. Not sure at all why you are not able to update, worth...

    I was on firmware 43181 on the router including all the nodes and used the UI to update all 4 XT8's automatically. However, I do also update each manually just in case.
